Capricorn Constellation Card
A birthday card for a Capricorn, or a card for a new arrival: Capricorn’s constellation on the night sky with the Sun’s path running through it, or the sky the moment a baby arrived, the occasion in capitals above and Capricorn’s own line beneath. Inside, Capricorn’s dates, element, modality and ruler and a few words on the sign, or for a baby their Sun, their Moon and the Moon’s phase that night. 4 × 6 in, folded, with an envelope.
Inside the card
22 December – 19 January · Earth · Cardinal · Ruled by Saturn
Born under the sea-goat: patient, ambitious and wise beyond their years. Capricorns climb steadily, and they always get there.
Around your birthday the Sun sits right beside Capricornus, so its stars are hidden in the glare. Look for them on a September night, low in the south. The brightest is Deneb Algedi, the tail of the sea-goat.
